This is two arm fulls of clean & stuffed cloth diaper laundry ready for the closet.

32 diapers used in those 3 days equals 32 less diapers in the landfill.

32 less diapers paid for just to be thrown in the garbage after one use.

32 less diapers processed in a mill with copious amounts of water and trees.

32 less diapers full of toxins against my two baby's bums.

32 less diapers causing bum rashes due to those toxins being against my baby's bums.

Kindness

My challenge the other day about a random act of kindness turned out to be practiced on myself! I delivered a package to a friend [who I'm sure reads this!] and she put in enough change for a warm starbucks beverage. Warmed my heart she did! What a blessing. And that is exactly how these random act of kindness things work. To make you feel LOVED and HONOURED and feel the need to pass that LOVE on and on and on and it continues. I got home that day and wrote a sweet lil YOU ARE AWESOME note to someone close by who I happen to believe is splendidly awesome. She just needed to know, ya know?

Instagram of the week

Yesterday my babyK was four months. It also marked the first time I back carried him in the Boba carrier! I honestly haven't worn him too often because it was uncomfortable after my c-section but I am slowly getting back into it. And I know it will allow for more puttering around the house when he decides to fall asleep in there too :) Love on everybody.

By hand

First and last

Yesterday we woke up to a perfect blanket layer of snow on the ground. The first snowfall of the last month in this house. Every single time we make a move it is hard but we prepare ourselves to be ready for it and anticipate the next chapter. I never know what to pack when I am still this far away from moving. I will take things off the walls, organize and pack up most of the closets, pack kitchen stuff away that won't be used. Fill up boxes for taking to MCC. Throw more away. It will still feel like too much but we will do our best. On top of that, I have ongoing neglected duties that I'm not sure will ever get done, nor do I longer believe I ever had a gift of doing. Is it the season? Is it the circumstances? The feelings associated with that? I don't really know. I do know that I would just LOVE to drop everything and go somewhere warm and share the love of God. It's not that easy. Stink. One thing I CAN and WILL do and know I am good at? Love. That's it for now...
