Playhouse Disney & Giveaway!!
It's early Friday morning in our household and what is that I hear? "It's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Come inside and take a ride..." That's right. TV is on for a few hours while this mamma wakes up. With three kids in such different age ranges (8, 3 and 1) they will still choose kid-friendly shows that benefit all three. Of course, the 8 year old is steering away from those slowly but when it's on, he doesn't mind one bit :)
Handy Mandy is also a favorite around here! What awesome tools he has! And they all like to help out too. My boys like this show a lot too since their daddy is a carpenter and see him working on our house all the time, also trying to lend a hand when they can.
I love it that Playhouse Disney is not filled with commercials! And there is learning going on when they watch this programming [without them knowing it, even better!]
Playhouse Disney Canada has an excellent website - www.playhousedisney.ca. It is a fun, safe place for kids to hangout & play games, even watch videos, for free as well. For those who can't read, like my 3 year old, when you mouse over the top bar, it will say 'Games' or 'Activities', novel idea! English and French options available. There are just so many things to do on this website that it may take the kids a while to get bored, and their computer time will be over before they know it :)
And of course Playhouse Disney Canada is on Facebook! You can also sign up for their newsletter to get the latest news & information on new shows, activities and contests.
